The Phillies have acquired shortstop Edmundo Sosa from St. Louis. Left-handed reliever JoJo Romero was sent the Cards to complete the deal.
Sosa, 26, can play multiple infield positions although he’s primarily been a shortstop. He’s slash .189/.244/.270 with a whole eight RBI’s.
