Major League Baseball has postponed World Series Game 3 between the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros due to rain in the Philadelphia area. The schedule will shift by a day with Game 3 taking place on Tuesday and so on.
The move allows MLB to avoid a situation similar to 2008 World Series Game 5 (pictured) or more recently NLCS Game 5.
The postponed has also allowed the Phillies to tweak their rotation.

Philadelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson joined SportsRadio 94 WIP’s Midday Show with Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie and hinted that Aaron Nola would start World Series Game 1 for the Fightin’s.
Now the move has become official.
Major League Baseball officially announced the dates and start times for all 2022 World Series games on Monday afternoon. It should come as no surprise, but all games will begin promptly at 8:03 PM/Eastern time and will be televised on Fox.
