The Philadelphia Phillies have added Johan Rojas to the 40-man roster, the team announced on Tuesday.
His addition to the 40-man protects him from being selected in the Rule 5 draft.
The 22-year old was ranked the 5th best prospect in the system by MLB Pipeline.
Rojas was signed by the Phillies in January 2018 for $10,000. The outfielder has elite speed and raw power that scouts rave over. He batted .260 with 4 HR, 16 RBI, 8 2B, 5 3B, and a .720 OPS over 60-games with Double-A Reading.
