Philadelphia Phillies catcher JT Realmuto was named the National League’s 2022 Rawlings Gold Glove winner at catcher, Major League Baseball announced on Tuesday.
This is Realmuto’s second Rawlings Gold Glove award (2019).
Living up to the moniker “The Best Catcher in Baseball,” Realmuto led all MLB catchers in percent caught-stealing rate, 44%. He also led NL catchers in defensive runs saved (DRS).
