Aaron Nola is 2-1 with a 3.12 ERA in the 2022 MLB Postseason. The 29-year old has pithced 17.1 innings, struck out 18, and has a 1.10 WHIP. Nola was tagged with the loss in his last outing, NLDS Game 2, allowing 6 ER in 4.2 innings against San Diego.

The move will be made official on Wednesday when Thomson meets with the media ahead of World Series Game 1.
