Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Bryce Harper might not need a weeklong rehab assignment. The reigning National League MVP looked pretty comfortable in his first rehab at-bat.
Harper is expected to return to the Phillies lineup early next week.
The 2022 NL All-Star hasn’t played since breaking his thumb on June 28 in San Diego. He was slashing a cool .318/.385/.599 with 15 homers, 48 RBIs and a .984 OPS.
