The Philadelphia Phillies will be placing pitcher Seranthony Dominguez on the injured list due to triceps “tightness,” reports Jim Salisbury. The team had called up Tyler Cyr from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
The team has not yet confirmed the moves.
This is not good is a massive understatement.
The 27-year old is 6-4 with a 1.67 ERA, 54 Ks, 9 saves, and a .909 WHIP. Dominguez has been completely dominant for the Phillies’ bullpen. He should’ve been an All-Star.
Cyr has spent the past seven seasons in the minor leagues or overseas. The 29-year old is 2-3 with 2.50 ERA for the IronPigs.
